John Pohlman is the Director of Information Security Services at Tanner LLC, a Salt Lake City-based public accounting firm. Before joining Tanner, John spent the previous 5 years of his career leading and growing a local IT company, where he developed a passion for business management and growth with a specific interest in Network Security. He is an expert and frequent speaker on IT controls and network security topics at meetings for numerous professional organizations and business groups. John has overseen hundreds of IT security engagements for the past 10 years, and has experience working with a wide variety of businesses. Clients he has worked with include Adobe, 4Life Research, Overstock, and Layton Construction and many others. John received his Master of Business Administration Summa Cum Laude from Westminster College in 2011 and continues to participate on boards with the college.
Note that Little America will begin charging $6 for two hours of parking starting January 2020. If you are working on budgeting for RIMS lunches for next year, please take this into consideration.
